Happy Birthday My Magic Blackbox!!

Celebrating the fifth birthday of iPod I would like to write something about its huge commercial success, five generation, five marvelous design and user interface I give my full respect to the most influential electronic device in the past five years.

Contradict to common believes iPod was not the first mp3 player. In 1998 three year before the iPod legacy was born Eiger Labs MP3Man, released in 1998, three years before apple introduce iPod. There is also another more significant player called the Diamond Rio the first mp3 player that really attracted customer; however the company is doomed due to lawsuit in copyright infringement.

The first iPod edition has a capacity of 5GB it seems very small compare to the latest 80 GB iPod generations capable of video playback and photo slide show. Its click wheel also have transformed beautifully. It is hard to imagine that the first and second generation iPod have buttons. The dimension is also become smaller not bulky as it used to be bottom lines it has transform into slimmer player than ever.

So what is the next step? Apple famously plays its cards close to the vest, which causes rampant speculation from far too many gossip and rumor sites. But two major innovations are widely expected as "just a matter of time" for the company. TrustedReviews has them both mocked up: A touch screen iPod with a screen that spans the entire width of the device and has no physical controls at all, and the long-fabled iPhone mashup of cell phone handset and MP3 player. Ah,, I will not buy that cheap gossip because then again what is the point of having a touch screen if you will leave all your finger prints there, I personally believe that Apple will choose more intelligent , beautiful,, and yet practical design. So let see what is Apple secret weapon to mute the sound of the new Microsoft zune.
